Multiply intelligences design--> curriculum and assessment (E. Harris; Boston)
Learning -----------------------> Accountability
Learning Standardized test
Self assessment Performance based
Informal feedback (sitting beside them)
Rubrics
Portfolio
theoretical framework-- according to gardner, Intelligence is....
solve real life problems
ability to find and create problems
ability to offer a product or service that is valued in at least once culture.
We all have 8 intelligences, but each individual has an unique profile
(linguistic, mathematical, interpersonal, intrapersonal, bodily kinesthetic, visual, musical, natualistic)
Multiply intelligences suggest:
Not is this student smart, but how is this student smart?
What is their unique profile?
Portfolio ----> we need----> personalisation
assess student work
Multiply intelligences based on profiles, projects and portfolios.
